Reiteration: Homefront looks awesome.

Man the campaign looks like its going to be a great story. The setting, characters and action look epic.

I remember when I first watched the trailers for MoH, it looked awesome and I couldn't wait to get it......

I remain sceptical myself...looks like something that could work but might just as easily fail.

I don't like the plot:

Another game where America gets invaded by a foreign threat, seriously?

Now it's not like there's anything wrong with America being the heroes/victims every once in a while, but in damn near every game? Just getting a little tiresome.

The gun play just doesn't look that exciting to me truthfully. Screw the plot....

HomeFront looks ported from ten years ago or so, and both gameplay and the in-game features are terribly bland.

I mean, "purchase" a Apache mid-game by trading in points earned for capturing flags/bases? Really? Oh, look, we're getting ass raped by a chopper - let's purchase a RPG and shoot it down.

...or maybe pick the right kit from the start?

In fact, they've said that choppers and vehicles are put there for anyone to use. Let me quote: "It shouldn't take hours to master a vehicle - just jump in".

well it might not take hours to 'master' a vehicle in the sense of not flipping it or crashing into a tree when taking off, it COULD still require skill to 'master' it in the sense we'd mean.
I think it looks pretty good, defo worth a look anyway.

I actually haven't watched the heli gameplay footage...I will actually be very dissapointed if it is as sugar as you say..I had Homefront earmarked as a possible replacement to BC.....until BF3 of course..

go post in the MP7 thread, I'd like to see what you think of the bc1 maps, if you've played them yet...

Well after seeing a teammate steal the very tank that I am repairing for the 100th time, I can say that I'm pretty happy that people with have to earn their vehicles in this game. The gunplay looks much more refined than frontline and the graphics look pretty good. Not to mention, what appears to be a functioning combat knife. The maps look really cool too; can't wait to play the map with the huge commercial jet in the middle.

I just hope theres gonna be a demo of somesort, I refuse to pay top wack for so called top games, only to find its totally sugar... BF is an exception...

I have it pre-ordered. But I am *much* more eager for the release of BRINK than I am of Homefront.

I'm really looking forward to it. Saw some new MP videos todays and they have some really good attention to detail. I also love how they merged both Rush and Conquest modes in Ground Control mode.

But it can still go both ways. The demo will make or break it... I don't like the music though. Sounds cheap.

Still waiting on a demo or something. Currently more psyched for Brink.
