BF3. Worst. Game. Ever

I'm kinda enjoying it because it's just really easy. Everyone camps and lays there prone with a bipod, or hides in the predictable spots under the map. Pretty much like BC2 was with stair campers, and BC1 with attic campers or whatever they did there, I don't remember.

Crouchwalking still works though. Throws the hitboxes off still. Some guy crouchwalked me and it worked, so I tried it, and it works.

I know it's really bad, I'm not saying it's a good game. But there's a lot of people going prone when prone clearly isn't coded even remotely correctly (it's like the JDAM in BC1). So you see a lot of people thinking they're being sneaky when their legs are straight up in the air and they're crawling on their neck. Or you see people who think they're under the ground lying still but there's really a body moving back and forth extremely quickly, all glitched out, attracting the attention of every single enemy player who can detect motion.

Yessir. Used it last night. It's beastly, running with foregrip, flash hider and holo sight. I'll soon have the A-91 or whatever the fuck it's called unlocked... Meh, think it's great fun. Feels very similar to BC2, which I also liked, but changed plenty of stuff I found irritating. Prone is gay through, and you're gay if you use it.

Rocket sniping is most definitely back during the beta at least. RPGs in the subway RAPE.

I'm actually liking the game. It's got a lot of BS glitches, but so did BC1 and that was still fun.

My main gripe is getting killed 3 seconds after you're already in cover. Seems to happen a lot. And same thing with enemies, shooting them and then turning around and running away and getiting the kill way later.

Also don't like how it takes control away from you sometimes? Makes me randmoly stand up or go prone. Which is REALLY annoying when you're getting shot at.

Hit detection and latency are problems as ever, but I expected as much from the beta. I hope they tighten it up, BC2 never realyl got round to it.

In 1943 and MoH and BC1 neither. That's just how DICE makes games I think.

It's still a camper's game though. Like the others in the series you're pretty much guaranteed to do good if you sit somewhere and aim.

And also, and this is REALLY annoying: When you arm with 5 tickets left, and you go to 0, the game doesn't end.
Nope.

It waits for the bomb to blow, THEN ends the game. Which is SO fucking gay. Once you're at 0 tickets with a bomb armed it should let you keep playing. At least end the game when it hits 0 tickets. No point in letting us goof off until the bomb is blown up for the inevitable loss.

I prefer to think of it as a sudden death. Only had it happen once (it got disarmed, so we lost,) but does it apply when there's two crates still up, or only one?

Well when there's two crates it's understandable because then you'd lose anyway, as you hadn't moved to the next set of crates.

But for example, you're struggling at the first set of crates, and you've JUST armed the final one that will replenish your tickets. Then you slip to 0 tickets, and the game doesn't end. Normally when you get to 0 tickets, you just lose right away. But when you hit 0 while the last crate of a set is armed, the game keeps going... and makes you lose when it blows. Rather than giving you the 100 new tickes.

which is... shitty.

Is there a way to see your stats online? I'm pretty sure my k/d is a straight up 3.5 right now.

Battlelog... Just sign in with the email/password that's linked to your EA master account. There's really detailed stats, all the unlock progressions etc.

Ohhh, I get what you mean, I thought it replenished the tickets instead of the 0 ticket loss taking precedence.

You'll most likely have to take the account thing to EA support.

I'd rather not see my stats, than try to get EA support to fix an account problem. lol. Long story.

Googling tells me a lot of other people are having issues. That would make me feel better in any other developer situation but... how's 1943, Gnarly?

Caspian Border's a fun map, for what little I played of it. The jeeps are insanely fast and the jets don't seem overpowered like everyone thought they'd be, although that could just be because no-one can fly them yet. And the AA is a LOT better than in BC2, which is always good.

Also, the jets are only with Machine Guns on them until you unlock the various weapons systems and "perks" for them...which is a cool system

Caspian was soo fun when I was on it, probably put in 5 or 6 full 64 player games on the map....it was soo addicting.


EDIT: Actually, looking at my awards...I put in 16 total games on Caspian HAHAHAHA IT WAS AWESOME
