Going to a free model, with subscription VIP (current subscribers basically) & a store.
It will have most of the original game content, but not the going rogue expansion. You will still be able to play the full original core game + Issue updates.
The costume set will be limited to about 70-75% of the original set... however if you already had an account with the costume pieces, then when you turn it over to the free2play you keep your character slots and costume pieces.
So if you want to play it, set up a free account now to reserve the extra freebies:

| It's an MMO game...
create and design a hero/villain... do missions, preferably in groups, gain lvls, get more powers, go to new zones... typical MMO shit...
one of the better ones I played, though it's a lil dated... Should work just fine even on a laptop though unless it's a really old one.... they have decent scaling up of GFX as well. | |

it is GOING to be made into a F2P market model ssystem.
Almost the entire core game will be available for free including the issue updates, but not the Going Rogue expansion.
Additionally they are going to pull about 20-25% of the costume pieces to add to their market (along with other new stuff subscribers get for subscribing) HOWEVER, if you create a FREE TRIAL now of the still active subscription model game, then you will keep all the character slots and costume pieces on your account when they change it to F2P model... so you won't get a, albeit mildly, restricted core game. | |
