MW3 trailer

In terms of "wow thats badass" factor, it looks pretty cool. I have no doubt that the SP will be enjoyable, just as Modern Warfail 2's and BO's, but just like those two I'll play through the SP once or twice and rarely even touch the multiplayer. It's just not my thing.

Will rent/borrow/steal it, but not buying it in a million years.

Oh, but the graphics are shit. No improvement whatsoever from Modern Warfail 2, a disgrace compared to BF3.

You pay for the gameplay, storyline, and support in CoD... in BF you pay for the graphics.

Did you not read the part about the multiplayer?

I dont like it. Didnt like COD4's, didnt like Modern Warfail 2's, didnt like BO's, and will not make the same mistake with MW3. And I sure as hell won't spend $60 for a 6-10 hour campaign that I may play through twice at the most.

And what support? Lmao, COD games are the glitchiest games out there.

Until BF3 actually comes out, and PROVES it's good, no point in comparing it to anything...

You are paying for a ton of hype, an ancient and outdated game engine, no technological advancement, APPALLING support and communication, terrible generic storylines and average gameplay that was all stolen from modders in the first place. CoD died with CoD4.

EA is full of cheap cocksucking gimps too. A prime example is rereleasing the same fucking sports game over and over every year. Another are their shit-servers (BC2, anyone?) I almost confused DAII with Street Fighter with all the button mashing. When you get banned from EA for a minor offense (too large of a signature,) you get banned from all online play from your games that you linked to your account (RIP Wiffasniffa.)

I don't think this is true, unless I misunderstood you, because I posted nudity on the EAUK Forums and my forum account was banned. I'm still able to play BC2 on the PSN that was linked to my EA account.

At least EA have servers for BC2. Same cannot be said for CoD. Strangely the opposite is true for PC, EA allow a greater choice of of server providers, Acti allow just one and a terrible one at that.

They wanted to turn CoD directly into a console port, they didn't want to make the PC different at all. Not to mention lack of dedicated servers = lack of control over the game. Things like their precious DLC being locked out of the map rotation etc. It wasn't just the P2P/lack of dedis that showed this, they also removed the dev console and removed the ability to lean (leading to the famous "not balanced for lean" comments)

That's a shame....oh well, their company, their money.

It could just be game engine issues, Frostbite 1.5 is a beast IMO, not as optimized as Frostbite 2 will be.

no... it's PS3 only


360 has no real issues to speak of really... never has other then random squad glitching in BC1, and of course the infamous summer of lag in BC2.

but for the most part on 360, squads, comms, and lag have always been working and stable.

Lag has been working and stable on BC2 on PS3 as well. Squads and mics and so on aren't a serious problem in BC2 - not as good as in CoD of course, but it's not actually laggy like BC1 was where you couldn't understand the other person.
