We're not talking about buying the new version every year. You guys were saying that it's stupid to play sports games in general. It's not. It's stupid buying the same fucking thing over and over, yeah.

If that's not a sport you enjoy then yeah it's stupid. But if you're a fan they're fun to play.

I enjoy playing football (haven't in forever.. but that has more to do with getting older and not keeping in touch with enough people to put together a game) but I don't enjoy madden...

What I enjoyed about sports was getting physical... not rules.

I dont like Madden either, but I like football a little. Madden is a lot of rules and everything, boring. Fifa is easier to pick up and play.

Yah, I spose Fifa would have more "action" to it with less stops... hockey was my favorite video game sport cause you could fight, and intentionally do penalties and shit

@hawk I was worried about buying used because the code for online could have already been used and I would hate not being able to play online. I think you said that you bought your's used, did the online code work fine for you?

I agree with you about the rehashing of sports games (I never understood the point of buying a new sports game every year... nothing ever changes), but Call of Duty is completely different.

Battlefield haters would tell you the same thing about Battlefield. "It's always just some rehashed shit, play CoD, it's so much better and stuff's always new."

Both perspectives are bullshit. Both the Call of Duty series and the Battlefield series come out with brand new stuff each release.
