I concur. I don't see much point in having a silenced pistol, considering the common use for the sidearms.

One funny thing I found on OP Metro, you can hear MCOM B being armed at second base even through walls/ceiling, I spent the whole round C4 trapping the MCOM room and waiting on the floor above, detonating it whenever I heard the random beeps.

I'm looking at a new gaming laptop, but if previous conversations were an precursor, I'm completely ignorant when it comes to specs and things like that. Yea yea, I know a tower would cost half as much while putting out the same amount of juice, but it wouldn't be practical in my current standings.

Oh and the G18 is trash from what i've seen... Nothing compares to the 443 Tactical... Flashlight with the same light output as the sun, blind those motherfuckers OP as fuck, coupled with epilepsy causing screen flashes, you'll never lose a CQC gunfights

The G18 is beast, sure, you can't snipe with it like with the other pistols but it beasts most guns up close... 20 round mag too woopwoop. I prefer the G17 over it if I want to be gay but since I'm not, I'm running with the G18.

The beta has so many problems I can't even play it, but I think I'll really enjoy the full game.

C4 freezing seems to depend on server quality. I seem to be able to use it on good servers... usually.

You know that air duct entrance to the 2nd base? That's a GREAT booby trap spot oh gawds... I C4'ed like 6 guys in a row it was fillarious... got 3 with my first trap.

If I squad up with friends... I never risk C4... cause getting into a the same team with friends is too much of a pain to give up.

Otherwise, I give it a try and it's damn useful. Fucking triggers are backwards though... having to retrain myself :-\

Nah i'm pretty good actually G18 is hella bad no need for a full auto pea shooter when semi autos kill quicker then main weapons.

From my experience, the biggest issues with gaming laptops are always heat. I don't really know enough about Asus's gaming laptos to judge it. I know they make GREAT netbooks though. Also, gaming laptops have no upgrade potential. just FYI

Also, the screens resolution seems low. It is a 720p res screen, not a 1080p...that is really the only con with that setup. The 560m is ok

I really don't know enough about current Gaming Laptops to judge. Just remember....HEAT, and perhaps look for one with a higher res screen.

If you do go for one, make sure it has good reviews specifically mentioning it's ability to keep cool... as well as of course meeting the specs you need....

You could buy a desktop for a LOT less though, and it would be a better machine... laptops are for rich kids

The heat problem with laptops isn't actually that bad. Just get 4 wooden blocks, or even some beer coasters, stick them under the rubber pads on the bottom of your laptop just to get some extra airflow and you're set. And clean out the vents every month or so.

Still overpaying... Plus if you get a good monitor you can hook up your 360 to it through an HDMI cable too... gaming on a monitor > TV IMO. A nice 20-23" monitor at normal PC gaming distance is perfect for FPS... or any game really. TV's are for social gaming... and movies of course.

You'll get a better machine, for a lot less, by building a desktop.... it will be upgradeable, individual parts that blow are replaceable, and it will last a LOT longer.

Laptops are for business really... or... like I said rich kids who can afford to blow $1500-2000 every 2-3 years.

Yes, but just be mindful that they have been reported to be very loud which can cause the neighbours to call the cops....
