Scientists Successfully Destroy Cancer

What I said about the flu vaccinations being provided in large amounts at no charge was an example of good intentions trumping business sense.

During the recent flu scares, my school and a few other locations around town were providing free vaccinations to everyone who wanted one - as supplies lasted and with preferential treatment given to children and the elderly. That cost the government quite a lot of money.

When supplies ran out, Walgreens and CVS stepped up and offered free vaccinations too. And those are corporations who are out there to make a profit.

So the point I made was that yes, someone out there is making money off it, but plenty of entities were willing to spend it to protect the general well-being.

Take the business ethics to Ronin, I don't care if they make a profit or not. I'm just pointing out the general uselessness of these things. Wasted time and money based off of...what? the WHO throwing darts at a board on what will kill us in the next 10 years then making a scare of it?

Cancer is killing us now and has been since ancient times.

... then what the fuck ARE you talking about... In a thread about cancer, and diseases, in a discussion ABOUT whether cancer, if ever cured, will see the cure go mainstream, you should probably point out you're talking about fucking ponies.
