Possibly a shitty twin that was left behind in the womb, born with multiple diseases and disfigurements. It will most likely run on the ancient id tech 3 engine... again, it is being made with a random conglomeration of three different game companies - one of which have never made a game and another which lost 80% of their most important staff. They even stated that they aren't going to make any significant upgrades to the game engine (implying they did before )
I'm not expecting anything much...

I Wonder why they make COD games back to Back.

Because it is easy to churn out the same crap over and over again. Each development cycle is two years long and all they do is alternate between dev studios. It isn't like they have to do a lot of work on each game, the vast majority is still just the standard id tech 3 engine with some extra stuff bolted on. The content was all stolen from previous modders and the maps aren't exactly sprawling battlefields. Seeing as each game is nearly always the next best selling game of the year, Activision are just milking the giant cash cow that is CoD.

To be fair to them, if they didn't they'd be failures as businessmen.

But it would be nice if they at least attempted to make some original content.

True, though I'd place that responsibility mostly on the developer rather than the publisher. They're the artists, so to speak.

I'm not defending IW/3arc by any means but Acti are horribly responsible for the stagnant state of the CoD series. They pushed and pushed so that every game is the same, they can charge stupid amounts of money for it and can rip people off with shitty map packs.

I guess, but at the same time I can't really blame them. They found a good niche, and have pushed it as far as they can. If people didn't want it, they wouldn't pay for it, so at the end of the day all Activision are doing is taking money of idiots...which to be honest is something I've always admired.

I do feel like this game will have less sales than the last installments. I know I won't be buying it , and from what I am reading on various PC-centric blogs, most people are avoiding it like it is the black death.
With Battlefield 3, there isn't much incentive to get MW3 for most of the PC crowd.

Damnit, that could have been hilarious.
