No. Pokemon is mainly recognized by the games. Naruto is mainly recognized for the show. I hate the show, and the series in general. The game happens to be a fun fighting game regardless of how retarded the series is.

Really it was a friend that killed fighting games for me... Played against him and he would do the same move over and over again every fucking time (get hit, just as I "recover" get hit again, repeat until dead)

I used to play the hell out of tekken tag and dead or alive 2...but most of that love is nostalgia; as a kid I used to go to my local arcade and beat the shit out of the older dudes that played tekken tag. Man it was fun. However, that feeling can't be replicated playing on Live. The real fun in fighting games is competing against someone live/in person...and then talking shit hahah

Some Gamecube pos, can't remember the name, it had Mario and all the rest of the faggots in it... Not exactly a "real" fighting game (where you rip someones spine out) but the concept was the same.

and I don't think I played a fighting game that you couldn't win most fights (except against people who spent more time on it then I have on BC1 and 2 combined) by spamming 2-3 cheap moves.

Soulcaliber, MK, street fighter, tekken, virtua fighter..... all of em.

Indeed, first time I'd ever played Soulcaliber, was Soulcaliber 4 I believe, I was Yoda and just constantly drop kicked my brother. Got hit twice in the whole 7 rounds we fought.

Yoda was one of the worst chars ever...

but the game was fucked long before that. First one was pure cheese.

But even the "balanced" fighting games (Virtua fghter, w/e else) still have a few cheese moves in em.

So... we talking about Yoda from Starwars? In a fighting game? Sounds pretty cool.

But if he had a cheese move, wouldnt it be something involving using jedi powers, instead of a simple dropkick?
