I've put about 11 hours into the beta now and am pretty well tired of the one map over and over again. I don't know how some players have managed over 24 hrs of play already. O_o

I like the AEK more than anything else right now. The F2000 and M416 are good too.

Sadly all the best (or should I say "last") weapons are not in the beta... I hear that the last weapon for each class is locked also the Raffica isn't there... But I unlocked the suppressed Glock 18 (Full auto) and it's beastly. You can just run into a room with it and take down people that have ARs and carbines.

I have like 12ish hours in the game and yeah, the map is starting to get really boring. Saw a couple of rank 40s last night and they weren't even good, they went negative in most rounds... I wonder how many hours they have in the game.

You gotta unlock a few kit items, and weapon accessories, and specializations.

Oh yah... and of course learn how to fuckin play. I'm up to rank 20 now and pretty much know how every base goes... which means I know where to go to avoid and intercept the enemy (save the occasional rank 20+ on the other team who knows how to not be a lemming)

IMO BF3 is a lot more about flanking, positioning, and cover then it is about pure gun skills. If you both start shooting at each other at the same time, then the better shooter wins (or whoever has the better weapon for the engagement) but otherwise, unless the first person can't shoot good enough, whoever shoots first usually wins.

I move around in BF3 a lot more like how I used to actually move in the army. Sprint from cover to cover and hit the ground. go to kneel to look around before sprinting to next cover. You gotta keep fields of fire in mind as you're moving around if you don't want to get dropped like a nub

That is exactly how I am playing, to great success. It feels more like how I play paintball...and I love it. It is way more realistic

the G18 isn't all that great. I recently unlocked it but still prefer the grach tactical to it. The G18 is too specialized I think, although perhaps it's like any other pistol if you put it into single fire mode -- but where's the fun in not using it full auto? cheers

I love the tactical pistols....

Beats having a flashlight on your primary since usually when you're pulling out your pistol it's in CQB with someone who already knows you're there so the blinding effect is most definitely welcome and can often help your pistol beat out w/e they have.
