No, 3d spotting is a detriment to gameplay no matter if its cooldown is every .2 seconds or once per match.

Its just such a minor thing, its like on the very bottom of my list of complaints about bc2. If I got a chance to cuss out the devs, I probably would forget to even mention spotting honestly.
