| Looks that way, if it works this is pretty good, you could use HDMI and record to a PVR without having to use component cables, is it worth the cost just to use HDMI though? You would still need a PVR, only thing is if you already have one then this could be a good option | |

Might cause a incredibly minor delay though... prolly wouldn't notice it, but it might at add fraction of second of visual lag | |

| DVR's add delay too.... and the splitter would probably add less then first going through a recorder.... So if you want to record gameplay, this is definitely the way to go. Least amount of lag, and also allows you the highest level recording quality.
Win/Win...
well, except cost.... HDMI recorders are more expensive..... | |
