Same, first couple of screenshots I took uploaded fine, then it started to take weeks to upload, and then it just failed flat out. At least it actually functioned when it was released as oppose to being an out of the box failure like BC2.


I think BF3 will have battlecorder, so if you cant take screenshots themselves you can just capture the video and do what you want with it that way, much more useful imo.

The PWP video showcased gameplay from ghost cameras.... which means if nothing else, they have the internal tools for a battlerecorder. This has led to a lot of speculation as to whether or not the game will have one.

It is certainly possible. The tools exist for them, it's just a question of whether or not they packaged it up for us.

Im prob gonna get a PVR anyways, the montage market is flooded with leet vids, I will be making funny/me getting killed often montages, I had a good idea for a montage for BC2 but no PVR

As I was saying, their ARE battlerecorder tools... it's just a matter of them packaging them up for our use.

I could see them recording game data on the server, which you could access for up to 24-48 hours. On console we either might have an interface in game to D/L game data to use with an in game renderer, or maybe they create a special tool for PC that lets you render you console games there...

Well if its like the BO one, that only records small size clips as Im led to believe, someone told me the BO cinema thingy is very small clips like 30 secs or some shit like that

probably limit of hardware...

1 reason that a PC version, even for consoles, might be preferred.

However there might be system req's that make that prohibitive to ur avg console gamer.

so who knows......

hopefully consoles don't just get left out in the rain on this one.

Battlerecorder would be 10x more epic.... You could include 3rd person shots mixed with your first person... and even enemies 1st/3rd person
