The Vita is on par with the 3DS, cheaper than iPhone/iPod touch, and plays ports of PS3 games. I was expecting a higher price point tbh, but I guess Sony has learned from its mistakes and decided to take a larger loss on hardware (regardless of how much more advanced it is than the competitions'). So to answer your question... I would. It basically IS a "real console," except it's portable. It plays ports of PS3 games, browses the internet, plays music, movies, etc, records video, takes photos... it does more than a console while maintaining essentially the same gameplay. In short, it's a Dualshock with a screen. | |
