I got early beta access from Borderlands:GotY edition.... looks like DN alright lol
I'm not super psyched, but I'll enjoy the beta I'm sure, and prolly burn through the campaign (or most of it... rarely finish games these days) on a rental if it's any good. | |

Not really...I mean, I don't mind a bit of low-brow comedy (in fact I'm pretty childish sometimes), but when the entire game is low-brow comedy, it gets old fast. DNF makes crude jokes at every turn; the only other comedy it can do is taking the piss out of current gen shooters, but that whole schtick is undermined by the game itself being a glaring example of all the worst mechanics from current gen shooters. If the game had poked fun at itself, examining how incredibly shallow and pathetic a character like Duke Nukem is, it could have been pretty funny.
