I mean from ages ago. When there was still a tiny amount of information available and the only real info was "64 players, jets etc." all the DICE devs kept promising a "big reveal" on the 1st of March. That day arrived and all we got was a crappy jumbled up trailer. Then the fault line episodes appeared but we still no VERY little about the damn game. As I said, I'm still waiting for this promised "big reveal". This close to the launch of BC2 we had loads of videos already and knew a lot about the game. We know nothing about BF3.

And yes, pretty graphics. And I shall be feasting on their full beauty on release

i just have a little feeling that i will not like this game

looks fudge epic.....you see the spent shells raining down from the chopper? fudge that was awesome...if it doesn't look as good as that on a console I will be getting a gaming PC

I didnt make it past the 6 minute mark before the longest "meh" in history got the better of me and I just about dozed off.

Game will be epic shit guys. Im not trying to dump on you or anything, Im just tellin you ahead of time, you're getting your hopes up and you're gonna be let down hard.

BF3 will be just another game about snipers.

Better start saving then. The console graphics didn't even compare to PC in BC2, let alone in this.

Unfortunately, you may be waiting until a month or two before release. We have gotten roughly what I have expected.

It will be a fun game. It cannot have everyone's favorite pet features, but it is going to be a fun game.

Not if the vehicles are a little more powerful. There was no sniper problem in BF2 at least in part because vehicles were more powerful and infantry weaker; therefore, snipers (along with other infantry classes) were less troublesome.

My gaming PC cost around 1200$$ total, in parts. The labor was free. Just buying an equivalent PC already assembled would be around 2k I imagine.

It never did, and never will run SC2.

If I was good with computers, and I enjoyed fixing them, then sure, everything would be cool. But constantly repairing them when they fk up is part of owning and using a computer, and all I want from my machine is for it to function properly without me having to constantly fk with it. So uhh.... yea, if you are an ignorant, lazy fk like me, avoid PC gaming at all costs.

Isn't it you that has almost exactly the same specs as my computer?

Not had a single issue, not had to fix anything software wise let alone open the case.

Thats not how it will be.

Ill write up my predictions when Im feeling less lazy. But snipers will dominate this game, everything else, such as non-sniper kits and vehicles, will be just extra stuff thrown in to make the game seem cooler than it is.

My dad assembled it. He did everything except pay for it.

First, he did his. He bought all his sht, he assembled it specifically to be a gaming computer. His plan was to start building and selling them on a regular basis for some extra cash. (he cant work, this was all just after he'd gotten out of the hospital after being hurt).

Well, SC2 came out just as he finished, and I bought it, and it played. As he continued to modify his computer, it got to where it wouldnt play anymore.

I gave up and stopped trying to play it.

Then I got my job, and with real checks replacing my pitiful unemplyment checks, I was able to save up the required dough to have my own computer, and I spent everything Id been saving for like 3 months. Or really, more like 8 months, because Id been saving UI before I even started working.

Anyway, it immediately showed the same problems running SC2.

I almost sht myself with rage. Im not even kidding.

It just sits there, and I have no purpose for it. Sometimes Ill be walking by, catch a glimpse of it, and just knock the sht out of it randomly, just because its there. Eventually, on one of my drunk days, Im gonna take it to myu backyard, and shoot it pieces.

Like BC1, 1943, BC2, P4F, Heroes, MoH, whatever you guys wanna fail to remember.

1943 was decent, except for how bad it sucked. Other than that it was pretty solid IMO.

1943 has grown on me, but only because its easy and planes are ridiculously overpowered and easy to use

I wager it will be better than a game BUILT on hype that features no technological advancement, does not fully utilise the strengths of the platforms, will charge extortionate amounts for very little new content and is mashed together by three different game studios.

And yet outsells the competition by millions of dollars every time they release, because the competition can't piece together a good game to save their ass.

You're insane if you believe they're selling quality. Everyone just buys the same re-polished turd every year. People don't like change. They like knowing what they're spending 60 dollars on, time and time again. If Infinity Ward and Raven Studios (I think thats what they're called?) surprise me by deviating from this perfected formula, I will personally drive to their head quarters, fudge someone up, and demand a refund.

Luckily they never fail to deliver.

I have had a ton of fun playing these three games. Absolutely no regrets whatsoever with my purchases.

I anticipate that I will additionally enjoy BF3.
