If Rose and I had our own server

Would any of you play in it? Would hate to spend the money on the server and then have it sit empty forever.

Just can't take being banned from other servers anymore.

I'm aware. There's only like 5 people here who even have the option. I think teamstacking would end up being a problem though. Might have to sometimes auto-balance teams.

Seeing a lot of dead servers though, seems pointless to try. We could popularize it on our Youtube channel, I guess. Guess we could probably advertise it a bit better than most people, and everyone wants a chance to be part of a montage.

Haven't done one of those in a while. It's been all heli rape lately, TV missile cool shots and random fuckups. Tons of random stupid footage. I think he has enough footage of me panicking to fill a 10 minute montage. Two moments specifically come to mind... pretty sure they're gonna make it in the montage.

Why not just seek out dice servers? If you have$$ to burn id say get premium, go ahead n pay now for what you will buy later anyway (barring crazy shit, such as paralysis, getting a life, getting a hand amputated, or dieing)

DICE servers get teamstacked like no other.

I don't even think I want to buy CQ. I want to find a way to ruin DICE. I want to guess the password of one of their peons. The company needs to be destroyed. I don't want to give them money.

If you look at the situation, they've set their sights high & almost hit their target. If it weren't for the fact that nobody else has done anything that even comes remotely close, I would abhore them as much as you. ...but I can't, as almost all software has issues on release (I think Microsoft really set the bar there, though they're clearly not the only ones) & the few dev's who've have tried to write software even slightly similar to the BF franchise have missed the mark by miles. There's nothing remotely like it for consoles.

Were it a power tool that malfunctioned in the many various ways BF3 does, it'd be returned (if I was still alive to return it - in our country under the Consumer Guarantees Act, a brilliant piece of law in an otherwise incredibly flawed justice system; IMHO) for replacement or refund. Unfortunately, if I want to play what is currently the best option for me (with my tastes in gaming), I have to suck it up & persevere with the trash they've fed me.

I bought CQC (through premium - I figured I'll be buying the other DLC's anyway & want to squad with friends no matter what game mode they're interested in playing at the time) as a fun way to kill some fools with more of a CoD feel -which is also good when I've got mates over or whatever. Quite honestly, it's so much like CoD it's not funny. Aside from the perks & higher damage, the main difference is BF3's graphics & sound make CoD look like a plastic instrument compared to a wooden one... unfortunately, a wooden instrument in need of repair - the E's a bit flat & G simply no longer exists.

BF3 is without doubt the best & most frustrating game I've ever played - no small feat on DICE's part after their earlier attempts. I just wish more than anything else, that there was some way of eliminating both Latency & Lag - Quantum networking FTW! Hopefully the fibre optic networks currently being implemented in most first world nations will help reduce this issue somewhat...

It's a love/hate relationship between BF3 & I, because there's nothing better that suits my tastes. I begrudgingly shovel them my hard earned with a smile & anticipation, as they figuratively insert uninsertable objects into every orifice I have & a few I don't. Put simply, BF3 is a giant dong well lubed with marketing ...& while DICE 've fucked me every which way possible with it, it's put a smile on my face too.

I'm considering buying BF3 again (supposedly the input lag is gone?)... if I do, I'd probably play in the server.

Are most other places getting fibre optic now? That would probably help gaming alot. My past few CBs on BC2 had no lag for me while others said there was alot of lag.

I've had fibre optic for a while and it's like god mode.

Gut: Dunno if I wanna get the CQ maps. Maybe. I hear they're good and I believe they're out for non premium as well now. Either way Rose is gonna get em so I'll have them that way, then I'll just give him the vehicle maps when they come out.

Amp: Input lag is not gone completely, but greatly improved.

Dark: No. We're not getting that anytime soon sadly, afaik hardly anyone in the US has it. Yay aging infrastructure, I guess.

Is that your speed of your current connection in your sig? I was gonna say it's only "very good" until I saw you're 250 miles away from the destination server. Damn.

Also, FWIW, I helped one of my n00bie, hardly ever plays, RL friends boost his jet unlocks. I just loaded up my personal server, set to ranked, and let him disable the jet I was occupying on the run way, I'd hop out and into the other one. He got 150 pts every 30-45 seconds or so. Just got him the basics... Flares (weren't auto yet, it was the following patch), Heat Seekers, and Stealth.

I also spent a couple hours with him up in the air helping him learn how to fly better so he wouldn't get insta-pwned online (still not a good pilot really, but he has enough skill to be able to actually practice in live matches now). Mostly now tho, he just likes to gun for me in the helo (for air combat, he usually plays support w/ C4 on the ground). Nothing pisses off colonels more than seeing a rank 28 go 40-50/3-4 lmfao.

and yah... CQDLC is better than COD... pretty fuckin hilarious. Sure, only 4 maps of COD..... but considering it's not my main focus and is just a side diversion to the main game that's fine IMHO.

really can't wait for Armored Kill on PC.

He means they don't work for him. And they don't, I can verify his claims. They didn't work for me until this last patch, and ECM still doesn't seem to work for me no matter when I time it.
